Construction of new waste water treatment plant, large pumping stations, foul & storm sewer lines, manholes & service connections under tidal conditions. 13km of pipework and over 250 in-situ concrete manholes were constructed to cater for the diversion of existing and new foul/storm connections to the new sewerage treatment plant, which included a 400mm ductile iron outfall discharge line. Works included construction dewatering building, aeration & settling tanks, picket fence thickner, sludge reception tank, control building, ultra-violet disinfection, splitter & sludge meter chambers submersible sludge pump sump, 1km site access road, water/foul & storm mains, electrical & communication duct work, perimeter palisade fencing, ductile iron pipework & fittings, kerbing, tarmac, grassblock & hardstanding construction works.
