Construction of a 1,300 sq.m two storey semi-circular building which comprised of a library incorporating an information technology centre, lecture theatres, administration and staff offices, student facilities, ancillary services, fit-out and site services such as paving slab courtyard, natural stone retaining walls, footpaths, lighting, car parks, entrance roadways and landscaping.
This addition to the Teagasc Facilities at Clonakilty was a state of the art educational complex.
The building was part circular in shape with natural stone and extensive glazing to the facades. The new complex incorporates lecture theatres with multi-media facilities, a hi-tech IT centre, student common rooms and modern office facilities for teaching and administrative staff.
